Sub-module – Special procedures according to the Criminal Procedure Code, first session: Procedures against persons who have committed criminal offenses under the influence of alcohol or drugs and criminal procedures involving perpetrators with mental disorders

On January 30, 2023, as part of the initial training program for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation, the second group, the theoretical training under the module "Special Procedures according to the CPC" is being carried out with trainer Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judges at the Court of Appeal.

In the framework of this first session, the topics being addressed are: Criminal liability of the natural person, temporary and permanent mental illnesses, retarded mental development, the implementation of psychiatric examination and the decision on the ability to stand trial.

The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases as well as with the interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges, where two of them are from the Bosnian community.
