European Standards: Reputation Protection, Defamation and SLAPP Lawsuits

On 20-21 February 2025, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Chemonics project funded by the British Embassy in Pristina, within the Continuous Training Program is conducting the training on the topic “European Standards: Reputation Protection, Defamation and SLAPP Lawsuits”.

The trainer engaged is Mrs. Flutura Kusari, expert.

The purpose of this training is to extend knowledge on raising awareness and building capacities to handle cases related to freedom of expression and freedom of the media.

The training methodology is a combination of theoretical explanations of the changes brought by the law and the practical part consisting of exercises.

The beneficiaries of this training are: Judges from the Court of Appeals and the Basic instance from all regions of Kosovo.
