Training for Lay Judges

Today, March 4, 2024, the Academy of Justice, following the request of the Kosovo Judicial Council, continued with the organization and delivery of training for lay judges who were not able to attend the training during 2023. As the decision of the Judicial Council foresees, the training is being carried out in accordance with the curriculum recommended by the KJC, where the Junior Judges for the next two days will have the opportunity to be trained in the field of the Code of Ethics and Disciplinary Responsibility, in family law as well as in the Dispute Procedure. After the training, lay judges are expected to undergo the test organized by AD, about the knowledge gained from the training. Beneficiaries of the training are 15 lay judges who have not completed the training organized by AD during 2023.
