Visit of the newly appointed Judges to the Customs of Kosovo

September 19th 2024, The Academy of Justice today, for newly appointed judges (XI generation) within the framework of the Initial Training Program, conducted a visit to the Customs of the Republic of Kosovo. The newly appointed judges within the Initial Program will also visit non-judicial Institutions. The purpose of the visit is for the judges to become more familiar with the work and activity of the Customs, the history of the development of the Customs, their competence, as well as the connection between the work of the judges and the Customs. The subject of examination during the training is the customs criminal offences, the beginning of the procedure, investigative actions by the police, the collection of evidence up to the criminal report. Criminal offenses of organized crime, smuggling of goods, defrauding consumers, giving and receiving bribes, abuse of official position will also be discussed. The training is being conducted interactively between the participants and the trainer engaged by Customs, Mr. Ayat Sejdija. Beneficiaries of the training are the newly appointed Judges (XI generation).
