War Crimes

On 03-04 March 2025, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Humanitarian Law Center within the Continuing Training Program are conducting the training on the War Crimes.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Ivan Matešić and Mr. Mersudin Pruzhan, war crimes prosecutors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Ilir Morina, special prosecutor – SPRK, and Mr. Amer Alija, Lawyer at the Humanitarian Law Center.

The purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge through the exchange of experiences with the war crimes prosecutors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and discuss the dilemmas and challenges they encounter in practice regarding war crimes trials.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries are Judges, professional associates, legal officers from the Basic Court, judge from the Court of Appeal, Prosecutors from the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo and Police Investigators.
