Curriculum: Criminal Procedure Code

During October 17 through 24th, 2024, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges if the 12th generation conducted the theoretical training from the module on the Preliminary criminal procedure that was conducted in 7 training sessions. This module was delivered with the support of trainers Mr. Agim Maliqi judge of the Supreme Court, and Mr. Ali Kutllovci judge in the Basic Court of Mitrovica.

This module elaborated on the following: arrest warrant summons, the defendant's promise that he will not leave his place of residence, detention of the relative of the person or certain place and bail, house arrest, preliminary procedure and the powers of the judge in this procedure, search of the person, property and objects and temporary seizure, special investigative measures in the criminal procedure and trial simulation in the Supreme Court.

Training methodology was interactive discussions and case-based method.

Beneficiaries of this training are 31 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian Community.
