Training program at non-judicial institutions: Visit by newly appointed judges to the probation service

On September 23, 2026, as part of the program of visits to non-judicial institutions for judges of the 14th and 15th generations, a visit to the Probation Service was conducted. The newly appointed judges were welcomed by Mr. Halit Ibrahimi, Head of the Regional Probation Service Office in Prizren. He outlined the role of the probation officer regarding the execution of alternative measures and sentences - including those for juveniles - as well as their participation in court hearings. Particular emphasis was placed on the execution of alternative measures and sentences for adults, the drafting of supervision plans and programs, and the resocialization and reintegration of individuals released on parole. The participants in this visit included 19 newly appointed judges from the 14th generation, and 18 from the 15th generation including two members from the Serbian community.
