Module: Domestic Violence

On 03–04 October 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Training Program, organized two theoretical sessions from the module “Domestic Violence” for the newly appointed prosecutors of the eleventh generation. These sessions were delivered as part of the curriculum “Legislation and Complementary Skills” and were delivered by trainer Ms. Leonora Kadriu, Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjilan.

This module covered the following key topics: Investigation, criminal prosecution, trial, and sentencing policy related to the criminal offense of domestic violence; Initiation of procedures for imposing protective measures and issuing protection orders.

The training methodology was based on interactive discussions, with active engagement through practical case examples.

The training benefited 24 newly appointed prosecutors of the 2025/2026 generation.
