Module: Domestic violence; Second session: Law for preventing and protection from domestic violence

July 25 2024, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program conducted a theoretical training for the eleventh generation of newly appointed judges from the module on “Domestic violence – criminal aspect” held by the trainer Ms. Shenaj Berisha, prosecutor in the Special Prosecution Office.

This session is addressing the following: violent behavior outside the family, extreme jealousy and possessiveness, non-compliance with restraining orders by the courts or the police and previous acts/incidents of the GBV against the victim.

Training methodology is interactive discussions and case-based.

Beneficiaries of the training are 15 newly appointed judges 2024/25.
