Module: Witnesses and Injured Parties

During June 17-18, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Program, for newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation, conducted three theoretical training sessions from the module on “Witnesses and Injured Parties” within the curriculum scope on “Criminal Procedure Code”. This module was held by the trainer Mr. Valon Kurtaj, Judge at the Basic Court in Prishtina.

This module addressed the following: Injured parties in general terms and understanding the witnesses in general, understanding the cooperative witness.

The training methodology was developed using an interactive discussions method and based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
