Module: Parties in Criminal Proceedings

On June 16 through 19, 2025, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Program for newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation, conducted three theoretical training sessions from the module on "Parties in Criminal Proceedings" under the curriculum scope on "Criminal Procedure Code". This module was delivered by the trainer Mr. Burim Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

This module elaborated on the following aspects: Principles in criminal proceedings, court competences and the exclusion of judges; State Prosecutor and defendant and defense counsel in criminal proceedings; Injured party in criminal proceedings.

The training methodology was developed using an interactive discussions method and based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
