Module: Sentencing Policy

During June 25 – July 1 2025, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation conducted the theoretical training sessions on the Sentencing Policy, from the curriculum on the Criminal Code of Kosovo. This module was delivered by the trainer Mr. Agim Maliqi Supreme Court judge.

This module covered the following topics: the sentencing policy guideline, circumstances for aggravating the sentence, circumstances for mitigating the sentence and the specific guideline.

The training methodology used an interactive discussions method based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
