Module: Punitive Policy

On October 13, 20, 21, and 27, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Training Program, conducted four theoretical sessions from the module “Punitive Policy” for the newly appointed prosecutors of the eleventh generation. These sessions formed part of the Criminal Code curriculum and were delivered with the support of trainer Mr. Agron Qalaj, Prosecutor at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

The module focused on: the active role of the state prosecutor in the sentencing process; Mitigating circumstances; Aggravating circumstances; Sentencing with fines.

The training methodology was based on interactive discussions and practical case-based exercises.

The beneficiaries of this training were 24 newly appointed prosecutors of the 2025/2026 generation.
