
Module: Non-contested Procedure
During February 18-25 and on March 04, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Program, for newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, conducted 7 sessions of the theoretical training from the module on Non-Contested Procedure within the curriculum on Civil, Administrative and Economic Laws. This module was conducted with the support of the trainer Ms. Drita Rexhaj, judge at the Court of Appeals, and Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Court of Appeals.
This module covers the following: General provisions of the law on non-contested procedure, regulation of personal and family situations, regulation of property relations, administration and use of joint property, drafting a decision in non-contested procedure and legal remedies, non-contested procedure and general reviews, removal and restoration of capacity to act, declaration of disappearance or death of a person and proof of death.
The training methodology used interactive discussions method based on practical cases; this module also included a trial simulation that also carried out in the courtroom (Supreme Court).
Beneficiaries of the training are 31 newly appointed judges, including one member of the Bosnian community.
