Contested Procedure

On July 14, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within its Continuous Training Program, conducted the Basic Module training for professional associates and legal officers in the civil field on the topic of “Contested Procedure.”

The training was delivered by Mr. Albert Zogaj and Mr. Zenel Leku, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo.

Purpose of the training is to extend the participants’ knowledge of key aspects of contested procedure, including acquisition of ownership; types of lawsuits and amendments; preliminary review of lawsuits; competence, parties, and representation; procedural presumptions related to the object of dispute; judgment and types of judgments.

Training methodology included a blended approach combining theoretical explanations with interactive discussions to ensure both conceptual understanding and practical application.

Beneficiaries are professional associates and legal officers from all civil divisions of courts across Kosovo.
