The Academy of Justice welcomes the Progress Report on Kosovo
The Academy of Justice welcomes the publication and recommendations of the European Commission Report on Kosovo for 2025, as well as the positive assessments of the Academy's commitment to strengthening the professional capacities of its beneficiaries.
Over the years, the EU, through the report, has assessed developments in the fields of initial and continuous training for judges, prosecutors, and support staff of the justice system, and has highlighted achievements in improving the quality of training programs, strengthening professional capacities, and advancing contemporary teaching methodologies.
During the reporting period, the report also emphasizes that training programs for judges and prosecutors are only partially in line with the EU acquis and Council of Europe standards.
The report highlights the drafting of the training curriculum for Justice for Children as a positive development, aimed at building the capacities of professionals in the justice system for children in criminal and civil matters.
The Academy of Justice highly appreciates the evaluation of the published report. It expresses its commitment to advancing professional standards in the coming years and, through training programs, contributing to strengthening the rule of law in the country
