The National and European Judicial Practice in the Area of Citizenship and the Risk of Statelessness
On November 10, 2025, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with UNHCR/CRPK, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, conducted a training on “The National and European Judicial Practice in the Area of Citizenship and the Risk of Statelessness.”
The trainers engaged in this activity were Ms. Delushe Halimi, Judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Mentor Seferi, Coordinator at CRPK/ UNHCR Partner.
The purpose of this training was to enhance judges’ knowledge on current issues related to statelessness in Kosovo, recent developments in international legal doctrine, and to present examples of good practices and possible solutions.
The training methodology combined theoretical explanations with practical examples, focusing on challenges encountered in practice. The training concept encouraged active participation and discussion among all participants to ensure an effective learning experience.
The beneficiaries of this training were judges of the Administrative Department.
