International Legal Cooperation in criminal matters, opportunities and challenges

March 29 2022, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program is conducting a training on International Legal Cooperation in criminal matters – opportunities and challenges.

Trainers engaged for this activity are Mr. Armend Haliti, prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina, and Mr. Gazmend Çitaku, Director of the ILC Department in the Ministry of Justice.

The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of judges and prosecutors in the field of international legal aid, namely about extradition, transfer of the case, provision of evidence and other requirements in criminal cases to increase efficiency in the execution of requests for legal aid according to the best international practices and standards.

Training methodology is combined with theoretical lecturing and interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of this training are judges and prosecutors.
