The right to a regular judicial process-ECHR and judicial Practice - Criminal legal aspect

On November 22, 2023, the Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program in cooperation with the OSCE, is conducting the training on the topic "The right to a regular judicial process - ECHR and judicial practice - Criminal law aspect".

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Skender Çoçaj, judge at the Appeals Court and Mr. Islam Sllamniku, permanent judicial trainer at the Academy of Justice.

The purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge on the right to a regular legal process. It is also intended to elaborate the notions and interpretation made by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg for judges and prosecutors regarding the right to a regular process in the context of Article 6 of the ECHR.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges and prosecutors of all instances in the Republic of Kosovo.
