Violent Extremism, Forms of Extremism, Radicalism and Terrorism

Më 13-16 Prill 2025, Akademia e Drejtësisë në bashkëpunim dhe mbështetje të Rrjeti Ballkanik për Gazetari Hulumtuese (BIRN), kuadër të Programit për Trajnime të Vazhdueshme janë duke realizuar trajnimin “Ekstremizmi i dhunshëm, format e ekstremizmit, radikalizmit dhe terrorizmit”.

Trajnues të angazhuar në këtë trajnim janë: z. Burim Ademi, Gjyqtar në Gjykatën Supreme të Kosovës, z. Valon Kurtaj, Gjyqtar në Gjykatën Themelore në Prishtinë, z. Naim Abazi, Prokuror në Prokurorinë Speciale të Kosovës, z. Mensur Hoti, Drejtor i Departamentit për Siguri Publike MPB, z. Fatos Makolli, Drejtor në Divizionin për hetimin e Krimit, Policia e Kosovës dhe z. Nexhdet Haxhaj, Drejtor i Hetimeve në Drejtorinë Kundër Terrorizmit, Policia e Kosovës.

The objective of this training is to enhance participants' understanding of the national and international legal frameworks addressing violent extremism, radicalism, and terrorism, with a particular focus on the forms and manifestations of religious and right-wing extremism. It will also cover the international investigation of terrorism cases and the role of prosecution in handling such cases.

The training methodology combines interactive discussions, case elaborations, and group work, where participants will present and analyze practical case scenarios.

The training is intended for prosecutors from the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as judges and prosecutors at the Basic Court level.
