Stages of the criminal procedure

May 29 , 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program in cooperation with SAEK conducted a training on the topic "Stages of criminal procedure".

The trainer engaged in this activity is Mr. Naim Abazi, prosecutor in the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo.

Purpose of this training is to extend the participant’s knowledge regarding the stages of investigation, the indictment and declaration, the judicial review stage and the legal remedy stage.

Focus of this training was the detailed analysis of the local legislation regarding the authorizations of the police for filing of criminal charges that are related to the evidence of the investigation procedure, as well as the evidence before the filing of the indictment.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: professional associates and legal officers.
