Interviewing parties, victims and eyewitnesses approach, obtaining evidence, preparing parties in the procedure for appearing before the court

On June 23, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on the topic “Interviewing parties, victims and eyewitnesses approach, obtaining evidence, preparing parties in the procedure for appearing before the court”.

The trainers are Mr. Besim Kelmendi, prosecutor at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor and Mr. Ali Kutllovci, judge at the Court of Appeal.

The purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge regarding the interviewing of parties, victims and witnesses in criminal proceedings, obtaining legal evidence and handling cooperating witnesses. The training also aims to strengthen the professional approach to victims of crime and the implementation of legal standards through the analysis of practical cases and the exchange of experiences.

The training methodology is of a combined nature with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries are judges, police investigators and inspectors from the Police Inspectorate.
