ECHR as well as the national legal framework in cases of discrimination and the relationship with other laws with an emphasis on the Labor Law and the Law on Contentious Procedure

On October 17-18, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program in cooperation with the OSCE, is conducting the Training on the topic "ECHR and the national legal framework in cases of discrimination and the relationship with other laws with emphasis on the Labor Law and the Contestious Procedure Law.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Rafet Haxhaj, judge at the Appeals Court, Mr. Safet Krasniqi, Professor at the University of Prizren.

The purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge on handling the discrimination cases that in any case affect the procedures provided by other laws, in particular the Law on Dispute Procedure and the Labor Law.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: judges from the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal as well as from the Basic Courts.
