2–3 June 2026
With the support of the Council of Europe project, representatives of Kosovo’s justice institutions, including the Academy of Justice, participated in an international conference held in Budapest on the topic “Effective Programs for Perpetrators of Violence in Accordance with European Standards.”
Over two days, researchers, psychologists, and experts from the European Network for Perpetrator Programs discussed the importance of such programs in addressing violence, emphasizing an institutional approach that places victims at the center.
The conference aimed to strengthen the link between policy and practice, fostering cooperation to develop more effective and impactful programs for perpetrators of domestic violence.
In addition, four specialized workshops were organized, focusing on collaboration with women’s organizations, provision of victim services as a key security measure, referral pathways as well as inter-institutional communication.
