Cybercrime and Electronic Evidence

June 12-13, 2025, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the CYBERKOP project, within the Continuous Training Program is conducting the training on “Cybercrime and Electronic Evidence”.

The trainers engaged are Mr. Skender Çoçaj, judge at the Court of Appeals, Mr. Jan Kerkhofs, federal prosecutor in Belgium and Ms. Hania El Helweh, judge in Lebanon.

Purpose of the training is to advance the participants knowledge on the basis of Cybercrime knowledge, with focus on electronic evidence and its management based on the Budapest Convention and its additional protocols.

The training methodology is combined through lectures, exercises and discussions as well as through concrete cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: judges and prosecutors from the Basic instance as well as officials from the Ministry of Justice - the International Legal Cooperation Department.
