Crypto Assets and their use for Money Laundering

On October 03-04, 2023, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe - PECK III, as part of the Continuous Training Program, are conducting the training on "Encrypt Assets and their use for Money Laundering".

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Richard STRIKE, expert of the Council of Europe and Mr. Andrew TENNANT, Council of Europe expert.

Purpose of this training is to inform participants on international standards, key terminology, concepts of virtual assets, raising awareness of tactics and methods of abuse of AVs for illegal purposes.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges, prosecutors, representatives of the Police, Customs, Tax Administration, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), Judicial Academy, Public Security Academy and experts of the Council of Europe.
