Notion of Domestic Violence in the Family and Civil Laws: Protection Orders and Overview of the Law on Family

October 8-9 2024, Academy of Justice within the scope of cooperation with the Council of Europe, within the Continuous Training Program are conducting the training on the Notion of Domestic Violence in the Family and Civil Laws: Protection Orders and Overview of the Law on Family.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Faton Ademi judge in the Appeals Court and Mr. Fahret Velija, member of the Kosovo Judicial Council.

Purpose of this training is to extend the participants knowledge on the legal framework on the notion of the domestic violence in the Civil Law, focusing on protection orders and overview on the family law.

Training methodology is interactive discussions and practical skills development through examples and case studies.

Beneficiaries of this training are judges of basic courts civil department.
