Curriculum: Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo

During October 1st to 12th of 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for newly appointed judges of the XII generation has conducted theoretical training from the module: Criminal Code - general part 12 sessions. This module was realized with the support of trainer Mr. Bashkim Hyseni judge in the Appeals Court, Mr. Burim Ademi judge in the Appeals Court.

This module deals with: criminal offenses and criminal responsibility, intent, negligence, necessary protection, extreme protection, violence and intimidation, diversion, cooperation in the commission of a criminal offense, aiding and abetting in the commission of a criminal offense, criminal sanctions, statute of limitation and rehabilitation of convicts and the basis, limit of liability of legal entities.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the initial program are 31 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community.
