Launch of the Online Course "Human Rights and Environment"

On April 7, 2025, we, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with the Council of Europe, organized the kick-off meeting for the online course "Human Rights and the Environment" in Albanian, through the HELP Platform. This course is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals, providing essential knowledge on the connection between human rights and the environment.

At this event, were discussed important issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss and their impact on human rights. Whereas, the importance of this course was emphasized by Ms. Biljana Sladojevic Milatovic from the Council of Europe and Mr. Enver Fejzullahu, Executive Director at the Academy of Justice, while the course tutor, Mr. Afrim Shala, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo, presented the course content.

During the event, concrete cases were also shared and instructions on the use of the HELP Platform were provided by Ms. Jasminka Perunicic Allen.

This course is an important opportunity to increase the capacities of the beneficiaries of the Academy of Justice in the protection of human rights and the environment.
