Freedom of the media, safety of journalists and users of SLAPPs in criminal proceedings

On April 11, 2025, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the PRO-FREX project, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting a training on: "Freedom of the media, safety of journalists and SLAPPs in criminal offenses".

The trainer engaged in this event is: Ms. Flutura Kusari, expert.

This training aims at advancing the knowledge of participants in the field of awareness-raising and capacity-building in handling cases related to freedom of expression and freedom of the media.

The training methodology is a combination of the theory that covers the changes brought by the law and the practical part which consist of examples and drills related to the subject matter.

The beneficiaries of the training are: Prosecutors and professional associates from the Pristina Prosecution Office.
