Protection of children rights in divorce cases

On March 13, 2025, the Academy of Justice supported by the European Union in Kosovo and implemented by the UNICEF Office in Kosovo in cooperation with the Coalition of NGOs for the Protection of Children - KOMF, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program are conducting the training Protection of children's rights in divorce cases.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Court of Appeals, and Mr. Bedri Bahtiri, Professor at the University of Pristina.

The purpose of this training is to address the challenges of judicial practice regarding the implementation of material and procedural provisions in the field of family law.

The training is being conducted through interactive discussions, presentation of issues through cases, discussion of cases and summary of conclusions on the discussed issues.

Beneficiaries of this training are judges from the Court of Appeasl and from the Basic instance.
