Protection of Children’s Rights in Cases of Divorce and Domestic Violence

On March 17, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of its Continuous Training Program, is organizing a training session on the topic Protection of Children’s Rights in Cases of Divorce and Domestic Violence.

The trainers leading this session are Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Court of Appeal, and Mr. Bedri Bahtiri, Professor at the University of Pristina.

The training aims to explore the challenges faced in judicial practice regarding the application of substantive and procedural provisions in family law. It will be conducted through interactive discussions, case-based presentations, and a summary of conclusions drawn from the issues examined.

The participants in this training include judges of the Basic Courts, victim advocates, and the Free Legal Aid officers.
