Module – Legal Remedies and Special Procedures

On July 3, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program, conducted the Basic Module training for professional associates and legal officers in the criminal field on the topic “Legal Remedies and Special Procedures”.

The trainers engaged in this session were Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judge at the Court of Appeals, and Mr. Valdet Gashi, Prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office.

The purpose of this training was to advance participants’ knowledge of Criminal Procedure, with a focus on Perpetrators with mental disorders; Orders for psychiatric examination; Detention measures; Mandatory treatment measures; and Judicial decisions.

The methodology applied was combined in nature, integrating theoretical explanations with interactive discussions to ensure practical engagement.

The beneficiaries of this training were professional associates and legal officers from Courts and Prosecutors’ Offices across all regions of Kosovo.
