Module: Out Contentious Procedure
On 28–29 May and 01–05 June 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Training Program for newly appointed judges of the fourteenth generation, conducted eight sessions of theoretical training from the Out Contentious Procedure module. This module is part of the curriculum on Civil, Administrative, and Economic Laws.
The training was delivered by Ms. Drita Rexhaj, Judge at the Court of Appeal, and Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Court of Appeal.
The module covered the following key topics: general provisions of the Law on Out Contentious Procedure; regulation of personal and family status; regulation of property relations; administration and use of joint property; drafting of decisions in out contentious procedure and legal remedies; out contentious procedure and general reviews; removal and restoration of capacity to act; declaration of disappearance or death of a person and proof of death.
The training methodology emphasized interactive learning and was based on practical case studies. As part of the module, a courtroom simulation was carried out at the Supreme Court, providing participants with hands-on experience.
The beneficiaries of this training were 19 newly appointed judges of the 2025/2026 generation.
