
Module: EU Law
During May 02-26 2025, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation conducted a 5-session theoretical training from the module on EU Law within the curriculum on National and International Legal Order.
This module was held by the trainers Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, Professor at the University of Pristina, Ms. Donikë Qerimi, Professor at the University of Pristina.
This module covered the following aspects: The Legal Order of the European Union. Instruments, characteristics and fundamental principles of EU law, the Judicial organization of the European Union. The Court of Justice of the EU and the Role of National Courts, cooperation between National Courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Reference for a preliminary ruling, protection of fundamental rights in Europe, judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters in the European Union.
The training methodology was developed through an interactive and case-based method.
Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
