Module – Family law; First session: Family law, notion of family, sources of family law, consanguinity and types of consanguinity

On March 20, 2024, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, conducted the theoretical training from the "Family Law" module that is delivered trainer Mr. Valon Totaj President of the Appeals Court. Within this session, the meaning and objective of family law, the literal nature of family law, the sources of family law, the Kosovo Family Law and the meaning of family were addressed. The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases and through exercises writing a judgment is being made. Beneficiaries of the training are 15 newly appointed judges.
