Module: Criminal Code - general part

During May 08 - 23 2025, Academy of Justice within the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation, conducted twelve theoretical sessions of the module "Criminal Code - general part” within the scope of the curriculum "Criminal Code of Kosovo".

This module was delivered by the trainers Mr. Bashkim Hyseni, judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Burim Ademi, judge at the Supreme Court.

The topics elaborated in this module are: criminal offenses and criminal liability; intent; negligence; necessary defense; extreme defense; violence and intimidation; error; cooperation in committing a criminal offense; aiding and abetting; co-perpetration of a criminal offense; criminal sanctions; statute of limitations and rehabilitation of convicted persons; and the basis, the limit of liability of legal entities.

The training methodology used interactive discussions method based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
