Module: Procedure of Perpetrators with Mental Disorders
On July 13, 14, and 20, 2026, within the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the fifteenth generation, the Academy of Justice conducted four theoretical training sessions from the module “Procedure of Perpetrators with Mental Disorders” as part of the curriculum “Criminal Procedure Code”.
The module was delivered by Mr. Burim Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court.
This module addressed the following topics: -Accountability; History of treatment in criminal proceedings regarding the trial of perpetrators with mental disorders;
- Judicial simulations.
The training methodology was designed using interactive approaches and practical case studies. Additionally, a judicial simulation was carried out in the premises of the Court.
The beneficiaries of the training were 18 newly appointed judges for the 2026/2027 generation.
