Module: Special Procedures under the CPCK

On July 17 and September 17, 2026, as part of the initial training program for the fifteenth generation of newly appointed judges, two theoretical training sessions were conducted on the module “Special Procedures under the CPCK” (Criminal Procedure Code of Kosovo), within the Criminal Procedure Code curriculum.

The module was delivered by Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judge at the Court of Appeals.

The training covered the following topics: Detention on remand; penal order; criminal liability of natural persons; ruling on capacity to stand trial; request for issuance of a penal order; judicial supervision of mandatory rehabilitation treatment.

The methodology emphasized interactive learning, combining theoretical explanations with practical case studies to strengthen participants’ understanding of special procedures under the CPCK.

The beneficiaries of the training were 18 newly appointed judges from the 2026/2027 generation.
