Module: Evidence in Criminal Procedure

On July 04-10, 2025, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation, conducted six theoretical sessions of the module on Evidence in Criminal Procedure, under curriculum Criminal Procedure Code. This module was delivered by the trainer Mr. Burim Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

This module covered the following: the meaning and types of evidence in criminal procedure; the source of evidence and means of proof; evidence according to the Criminal Procedure Code of Kosovo; expertise and covert technical measures of investigation and surveillance and their types such as evidence, search, inspection, international requirements, provability and admissibility.

The training methodology was developed using an interactive discussions method and based on practical cases. The module also included a trial simulation.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed judges including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
