Sub-module: Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings; Second session: Interrogation and statements of witnesses before indictment

On November 21, 2023, the Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is conducting theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings", conducted by the trainer Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren.

This session is addressing the following: obtaining and storing data or evidence from witnesses, summoning witnesses, failure to appear, warnings for witnesses and cooperating witnesses, the witness is not obliged to incriminate himself or his relative, interrogation, obtaining statement in preliminary procedure and special investigative opportunity.

The training methodology is being interactive discussions method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed state prosecutors 2023/2024.
