Sub-module: Witnesses and the injured party in criminal proceedings, session four: The injured party

On November 29, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and injured party in criminal proceedings", with the trainer engaged Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prizren.

In the framework of the second session, the following topics are being addressed: the meaning of the injured party, the access of the injured party and the injured party defense council to the case documents, legal property claims, the persons authorized to submit the proposal for the realization of the legal property claim, the presentation of the proposal for the realization of the legal property claim, the withdrawal and waiver of the proposal for the realization of the legal property claim, the review of the proposal for the realization of the legal property claim and the measures for the temporary securing of the legal property claim directed against third parties.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive discussions and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 state prosecutors newly appointed 2023/2024.
