Sub-module: Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings, first session: Meaning and types of witnesses

On November 20, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and victims in the criminal procedure", with the trainer engaged Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren.

Within this session, the following are being addressed: types of witnesses, ordinary witnesses, privileged witnesses, witnesses who cannot be questioned, witnesses exempt from the obligation to testify and witnesses in special needs.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive discussion and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed state prosecutors 2023/2024.
