Sub-module: Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings; Session five: Examination of witnesses at trial

On December 4, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings", conducted by the trainer Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren.

This session s addressing the following: the questioning of witnesses or experts outside the trial, the non-appearance of the witness or expert at the trial, the questioning of the witness or expert without the presence of other witnesses, the testimonies given by the witnesses at the trial, judicial and direct examination, cross-examination and re-examination of the witness.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed state prosecutors 2022/2023.
