Sub-module: Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings, session three: Protected witnesses and cooperating witnesses

On November 27, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and victims in the criminal procedure", with the trainer engaged Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prizren.

In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: the request for protective measures or anonymity, the order for protective measures, the order for anonymity from the public, the order for anonymity from the defendant, the form of the order for anonymity, the prohibition of submitting questions that may reveal identity and cooperating witnesses.

The training methodology is being developed through interactive discussion and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 state prosecutors newly appointed 2023/2024.
