Sub-module: Law on Obligations; Session Nine: Compensation for Damages

On June 20, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module on the Law on Obligations, held by the trainer Mr. Rafet Haxhaj, Judge at the Court of Appeal.

This session is addressing the following: compensation for damage and types of compensation for damage, the notion and purpose of compensation for damage, compensation for material damage, compensation for non-material damage, monetary compensation for legal entities and inheritance and assignment of request for compensation for non-material damage.

The training methodology is through interactive discussions method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member of the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
