Sub-module: Juvenile Justice Code; First session: General provisions that characterize the criminal procedure against juveniles

May 29 2023, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed prosecutors of the ninth generation, is conducting theoretical training from the sub-module on the Juvenile Justice Code, held by the trainer Burim Qerkimi, prosecutor in the Special Prosecution Office.

This training session is covering the following: the age of criminal liability, principle of confidentiality and the opportunity, no trial in absentia for juveniles, competencies of the prosecutor and of the juvenile judge.

Training methodology is interactive and with practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 5 newly appointed prosecutors 2022/23.
