Sub-module: Juvenile Justice Code; First session: Introduction to the Juvenile Justice Code – guiding principles, definitions, measures and sanctions against juveniles and their determination

20 January 2023, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training program for the second group pf newly appointed judges, is conducting a theoretical training from the sub-module on Juvenile Justice Code, with trainer Ms. Nesrin Lushta judge in the Supreme Court.

During the implementation of this session, the guiding principles, the definitions used in the Criminal Code, the measures and punishments applicable to minors, the choice of measures and punishments and the role of the probation service are being addressed.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges, one of whom is from the Bosnian community.
