Sub-module – Contentious procedure, part two – session twelve: mock trial

On January 31, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation for the first group, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Contentious procedure - second part", with the trainer engaged Mr. Qerim Ademaj, Deputy. Chairman of the Judicial Council of Kosovo.

In the framework of this session, the following are being discussed: how the main trial is opened, what issues can be declared by the parties and their representatives, what proposals can be accepted at this stage of the procedure, how is the issue of possible changes to the lawsuit handled, how to proceed procedurally with the evidence administration, which evidence should be administered first, how the hearing of experts is done, when it is considered that the evidence phase is closed and how the final argument and the closing of the main trial is done.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive discussion and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges.
