Sub-module: Contested procedure - second part; Third session: Securing the claim

January 25 2023, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the first group of Newly appointed judges conducted the theoretical training from the sub-module “Contested procedure – second part” with trainer Mr. Qerim Ademaj, vice Chairman of the Kosovo Judicial Council.

This training is covering the following: the conditions for setting security measures, the consequences of non-compliance with the measures with which the claim is secured, the content of the decision on determining the security measure, the possibility of setting the security measure before the lawsuit is filed, the duration of the security measure, the legal remedies against the decision on determination of the security measure, and the decision on determining the temporary security measure and authorizations of the court in relation to the secured items, the authorizations of the court in relation to the procedure and the decision, as well as consequences of non-compliance with the measure for securing the claim.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges.
